Who wrote Mandala?
Mandala Spa Software has been crafted with love and care by me – David De Candia. I have worked on all sides from the spa equation in a very busy Australian 5-star resort spa: as a receptionist, a spa attendant, therapist, assistant manager, manager and finally, as spa consultant. So I understand the trials and stresses of a busy spa and well know that wry inner smile that occurs when a guest walks up to the front desk at the end of a long day and says: “You are so lucky to work in here, it must be so peaceful!”.
Mandala is the direct result of this first-hand experience. I have spent years testing and refining the user interface to maximise efficient workflow, aiming to minimise guest processing delays – and in so doing, reduce staff stress levels.
My outlook is heavily influenced by the philosophy of yoga. I believe in “right action”, which basically equates to honesty, integrity and the big stick of karma if you slip up along the way! When you deal with Mandala support, you will deal with me almost exclusively. I think this is a good thing, since no one is more willing or able to help you.
This is a small, caring business offering personalised service to a select group of spas and salons. My business model is gentle and simple. At the end of the day, I just want my clients to be happy.
